In Netflix's 'First Class', they're all on boats.
When the heat hits, many of us remember a video by Brays Efe from a few years ago, in which he wonders why all his friends are on boats.
“You are all mounted days and days.
You have no ships, I know you.
Where do they come from?
Who has them?
He himself answered — ”So your friends have a boat, right?” —, And he planned a strategy to end up in one: “What do I have, to go to Perrachica for dinner?
To Ten Con Ten?

Netflix has just released
First Class
, a
documentary
about people who either have a boat or have friends with a boat.
Six chapters that work like the general culture tests in
Survivors
: I don't have the body of a tronista, but I know who painted Las Meninas;
I don't have a boat, but at least I'm not surrounded by people who aspire to be a legend and who often repeat the adjective “holistic”.
Tricky consolations, because they start from false dilemmas, but whoever wants them keeps them.
We have seen other
realities
of the same cut, how can we not remember
Rich Women
(La Sexta) or
Papa's Children
(Four).
It's been 11 years since the last one and I still repeat the “Don't come home until you're corrected” that her father snapped at one of the participants.
The problem with
First class
is not the rejection that its participants may cause, it is that it lacks a sense of humor and the seams in the script are visible.
There is also the extra that the platforms lose with these programs: a
reality show
always wins in linear broadcast, let them tell it to
The island of temptations
.
Then there is the belief that they can represent some kind of
lifelong firstclass
people who brag about their adventures when we all know that the greatest luxury that the rich can buy with their money is anonymity.
