The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Rami (Israel Land Authority) have announced the launch of a new lottery, the second in a row, of a "discounted apartment" - a few days before the Knesset dissolves ahead of the election. .
Registration for the lottery will open this coming Sunday (3.7.22) and will close on 17/7 at midnight.
It will include about 5,500 housing units in 25 localities throughout the country, including Eilat, Ashdod, Elad, Beit Shemesh, Deir Hanna, Haifa, Jerusalem, Nazareth, Araba, Ramat Gan, Rosh HaAyin, Sderot, Arad, Mitzpe Ramon and more. Eligibility confirmation will be open until 7/7, after which it will not be possible to issue certificates until the lottery registration closes.
As was the case in the previous lottery, those eligible can register for three cities, and for all the lotteries in those cities.
The lottery results are expected to be delivered to the winners in August.
It is important to note that in order to register for the lotteries, an eligibility certificate must be issued.

The issuance process takes up to 10 days in cases where all the relevant approvals have been transferred, in some cases there may be delays.
Eligibility certificate is valid for one year, if the certificate of eligibility is valid there is no need to issue again.
The Ministry of Housing has chosen to emphasize that by the end of the year, about 15,000 housing units will be raffled off in additional lotteries, but at the moment it is not clear whether this plan will be implemented in light of the fact that elections are scheduled for October.
