The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, confirmed that Washington, by providing the Kyiv regime with more weapons and transferring intelligence information to its forces, is pushing it to kill civilians.
“The US administration is intensifying the transfer of weapons to Kyiv, and if it has already transferred portable air defense systems, heavy artillery and long-range launchers, then with its provocative steps the Kyiv regime is pushing to kill civilians,” RIA Novosti news agency quoted Antonov as saying in a statement today. "The reckless and irresponsible pumping of weapons into Ukraine complicates the cycle of conflict and increases the risk of further escalation, which portends unpredictable consequences," Antonov added, noting that the United States condone the continued sending of mercenaries to Ukraine.

For its part, Russia previously sent a note to all countries, including the United States, over arms supplies to Kyiv, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov indicated that military supplies to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for strikes.
