Full program instead of light version: The 5th Bonfire Festival in Freising will take place again as usual.

The Freisingers can look forward to a colorful line-up.

Freising

– After the “light version” there is now a “full program” again: The 5th Bonfire Festival in Freising will take place in its original form, the line-up for the festival on Saturday, July 30th, from 2 p.m. can be changed be seen.

After four successful festival editions and the challenging organization and implementation of the 2021 version, which was reduced due to the pandemic, the organizers Marc Hanow and Julian Hobmeier, known from the Freisinger singer-songwriter duo Apollon's Smile, are delighted that this year's Bonfire Festival will again take place without Corona requirements.

This means that visitors can come as they please and enjoy the various singer-songwriters from Freising and the rest of the world in an uncomplicated manner and without being seated or registering - and all with free admission.

All artists present their own songs

From a large number of applications for the 2022 line-up, the organizers have chosen six wonderful artists who will ensure a varied musical arc of suspense at the festival.

The following artists will perform as a mix of regional musicians and groups from Munich, Jena and Berlin: flowoflife, Simone Saitenfeder, Big S, Former Child, Friedrich & Wiesenhütter, Lisa Fitzek and Apollon's Smile.

There are interpreters singing in both German and English, who all present their own songs, which is a prerequisite for participating in the Bonfire Festival.

Small but fine and unique - that was and remains the motto of the Bonfire Festival: "singing songs - getting people together - enjoying life": singing songs - bringing people together - enjoying life.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Further information on the festival, musicians, sponsors and current information on the regulations in force at the time of the festival to contain the pandemic can be found at www.bonfire-festival.de.

In bad weather, the festival takes place in the barrel vault of the Schafhof.
