Biden leaves G7 summit: US President should leave Elmau by car

But there are already increasing signs that US President Joe Biden will be leaving by car earlier than when he arrived.

Around 9 a.m., police officers position themselves at various barriers and prepare the protocol route.

From 9.45 a.m. the streets in Garmisch-Partenkirchen are officially closed.

Biden had already traveled to the G7 summit in a car convoy on Saturday because his pilots were unable to practice the flight to Elmau the previous day due to the weather.
