In Isen, the firecrackers and carnival committee celebrate a big birthday party together.
Isen
– It was a superlative festival Sunday: the firecrackers and the carnival committee celebrated their anniversaries with the best summer weather, the best atmosphere and huge participation – the organizers estimate that 900 guests came to Isen.
The church procession and service were dominated by the rifle clubs from the Gau Wasserburg/Haag, which celebrated their anniversary in Isen, as well as the meeting of the district's firecrackers: Among the 68 clubs at the church procession and service there were 36 rifle clubs and firecracker departments.
And although they were already present at the folk festival, many Isen clubs also paid tribute to the two birthday children.
There were also four bands, the Isen brass band, the St. Wolfgang brass band, the Steinhöringer brass band and the Moosinning brass band, which led the individual trains.
The St. Wolfgang Music Association serenaded the guests of honor and all other participants.

The carnival committee responsible for derbleckn in Isen can look back on a proud 50 years.
The firecrackers department of the Isen firearms society, founded in 1784, is twelve years young. It actually wanted to celebrate its tenth anniversary two years ago, but was slowed down by Corona.
"Finally a festival service and a folk festival again, finally a great festival with many people celebrating," said Pastor Josef Kriechbaumer, welcoming the guests.
He certified that the two clubs have different talents but common goals.
If the firecrackers are present at all festivals and enjoy shooting together, the carnival committee has the great gift of spreading joy with funny words.
At the end of the service, Silvia Sladek and Vroni Reich attached the flag ribbon blessed by Kriechbaumer to the flag presented by flag bearer Leonhard Maier.
"A great picture, a great commitment," said District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer, patron of the event, in praise of the celebration.
He was particularly pleased that the anniversaries would be celebrated with a service.
"Not because it's customary, but because it's an inner attitude." He hoped that the two clubs would continue to "practice community, make people happy and inspire them with their own enthusiasm" for as long as possible.

As unusual as a "twelve-year anniversary" is, there is reason to celebrate, explained Mayor Irmgard Hibler.
Because the six shooting clubs in Isen “undoubtedly contribute to social life in the community”.
She wished the two clubs a lot of joy in the common ground and that they often "put something clever on the bee".
There was praise from Gauschützenmeister Helmut Schwarzenböck for the youngest scion of the Isener Feuerschützengesellschaft.
Even if twelve years is not a very old age, the firecrackers represented the almost 240-year history of the main club.
Firecracker shooting is a tradition.
"It's nice that this custom is upheld," he said.
One of the people who was particularly pleased about the large number of participants was Josef Rott, marksman of the Isener Feuerschützen.
In addition to the representatives of Gau Wasserburg, he also greeted Gertraud Stadler from Gau Dorfen, Klaus Waldherr from Gau Erding and honorary marksman Helmut Wagner.
Finally, the shooting with around 200 cannon shooters could not be overheard.
