Restaurant festival, ice age and pure culture: Wolfratshausen is planning many events

The city of Wolfratshausen is planning a colorful series of events.
In the culture committee, Annette Heinloth reported what is planned for 2022.

In the culture committee, the third mayor, Annette Heinloth, reported on what is planned for 2022.
With the Kultur-PUR series, there are several events in the municipality's calendar in the coming weeks.
Actually, the concerts of Constanze Lindner (July 15) and Michael Fitz (July 16), for example, should take place on the Bergwaldbühne, "however, the stage is not playable at this time and the events have to switch to other venues," says the Notice.
Pure culture in Wolfratshausen: Many concerts in summer and autumn
The city will herald the autumn part of the series with a concert organized in cooperation with the Neue Philharmonie München: Under the direction of Fuad Ibrahimov, the orchestra and soloist Kristina Miller will perform a "top-class programme".
Together with the Konzertverein Isartal, the Trio Tempo Nuovo will also set a silent film to music.
A celebration on the last day of the European Championship
In addition to the pure culture program, several events are planned.
On the last day of the European Championships in Munich, August 21st, there will be a morning pint with the city band.
In addition, stilt walkers parade through the market street.
Children can have fun on a bouncy castle in the inner courtyard of the town hall or test their driving skills on a bicycle parkour.
A snack truck from the Gasthof Humplbräu provides the guests with culinary delights.
At the European Championships, athletes compete in disciplines such as beach volleyball, cycling, rowing, table tennis and gymnastics.
Wirtefest in Wolfratshausen: live music in pubs, restaurants and cafés
As reported, the Wirtefest will take place again this year.
On Saturday, September 17, musicians will play in restaurants, pubs and cafés in Wolfratshausen.
A shuttle bus takes guests from one district to another, so no one has to miss a band.
The city would like to present an overview of the musicians and which restaurateurs are taking part in the festival at a press conference in the coming weeks.

The ice age is happening again - ice skating in the open air
A highlight of the Wolfratshausen winter is the "Ice Age", the mobile ice skating rink on the old raft landing, on which children and families in particular have pirouetted in recent years.
The fifth edition of the popular attraction was now on the verge of being canceled because the culture committee had refused its blessing.
The city council, however, overruled the committee.
The 450 square meter ice surface can be built up again.
From November 25th to January 8th you can go on the ice in Wolfratshausen.
School classes go ice skating in the morning, and ice stockists are also allowed to use the rink at set times.
This year - traditionally on the first weekend in Advent - a Christmas market is planned in the old town.
Details are not yet known.
