“Preparing trainers and trainees with the expertise and knowledge necessary to evaluate and develop work in university departments and colleges” is the focus of the specialized course recently held by Al-Baath University on (the tasks of qualification and training coordinators according to the European Union University System), which aims to qualify cadres working in the academic field and improve their performance to be Able to present new ideas that push the work process forward.
Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, stressed to SANA Youth the importance of the course in deepening the experiences and skills of workers in training departments and units in universities, empowering them with methods and applications for practicing the training process, and deepening their understanding and performance for each stage of this process.
Dr. Adnan Ghata, Director of the Directorate of Training and Technical Qualification at the university, indicated that the course lasted for 3 days with the participation of 16 male and female trainees, and included several axes, including the role and organization of the training function in colleges, identifying training needs, transforming training needs into training objectives, setting and developing training policies, methods and procedures for designing and developing plans and programs. Dr. Ali Hatem from the Faculty of Informatics Engineering and a participant in the course confirmed that this event helps to prepare specialists in managing and planning courses, setting timetables, identifying training needs and qualifying specialized trainers.
