The Iranian Foreign Ministry reiterated that US unilateralism and imposing unilateral economic sanctions with the aim of forcing governments to change their policies is a flagrant and systematic violation of human rights.
In a statement today, on the occasion of the week of reviewing and exposing American human rights allegations, the ministry said, “America’s misuse of economic tools to pressure countries that are considered politically independent is a clear example of human rights violations and resorting to economic terrorism to achieve political goals, and these are complex challenges to human rights standards and frameworks. known.”
The statement pointed to direct and indirect crimes committed by America and the arrogant powers in the world against the Iranian people and other peoples, as well as Washington's political dealings with the issue of human rights and the use of double standards for human rights, stressing that the US government is not supportive, but rather a major violator of human rights.
The statement called on international human rights organizations to combat this flagrant violation of the fundamental rights of independent peoples.
