“
On the eve of the verdict in the trial of the attacks of November 13, 2015, the judicial marathon which is ending reminds us that Life for Paris and its role - among others - of gathering and sharing is still just as useful.
However, the end of the trial must also mark the beginning of an “after” that we all hope for, even if we do not know the form
”, specified the association chaired by Arthur Dénouveaux.
It is “
the beginning of the end.
Or rather the end of the beginning of our post-attack life.
The hope of keeping our ties and our friendships, knowing how to get rid of our victim status a little more
, ”said Arthur Dénouveaux on his twitter account.
Until its dissolution, the association intends to "
fully participate
" in a call for the trial which could take place in September 2023 or January 2024, finalize its projects, in particular memorials, find "
long-term support
" for its members encountering problems .
.
“
We are only putting an end to the institutional part of Life for Paris, to better continue to bring our friendships, our sharing and our events to life.
But also to return, of our own free will, to a certain form of normality, far from the public eye.
Losing again - but this time on purpose - a part of us
“, indicated the association.
Life for Paris was created in December 2015 and brings together more than 650 members, victims or families of victims of the attacks of November 13, 2015.
