In his speech before the Council on the occasion of the forty-eighth anniversary of the founding leader Hafez al-Assad raising the Syrian Arab flag in the liberated sky of Quneitra, Sabbagh stressed that this anniversary glorifies an immortal day in the life of the Syrian people, indicating that restoring the usurped Syrian rights requires everyone to continue to exert effort, diligent work and thought. continuing to achieve this ultimate goal.

The President of the Council explained that the liberation of all Syrian lands from the hands of the Zionists and terrorist mercenaries also requires mobilizing all that requires energies and capabilities and employing them in the service of the Syrian people, stressing that Syria, the people, the army, and the leadership are moving forward in the honorable and heroic march of liberation until the final victory is achieved.

In their interventions, a number of council members affirmed that raising the Syrian Arab flag in the sky of Quneitra, liberated from the clutches of the Israeli enemy, was the culmination of the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army, the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs, and the gifts of the Syrian people in the October liberation war, stressing Syria’s firm and legitimate right to restore the fully and undiminished occupied Syrian Golan. .

The Council also approved the draft law that includes amending some articles of Law No. 2 of 2009 on tourist work sites and it became a law, after the Council conducted a public debate on the project and listened to the report of the joint committee composed of the Committees for Services and Constitutional and Legislative Affairs on this project.

In a presentation he presented to the council, Interior Minister Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun confirmed that the ministry had issued a number of circulars regarding manipulation of the national currency exchange rate, including coordination with the Central Bank of Syria officer to control the perpetrators of these crimes, observing formal and objective controls in organizing seizures and working to prove crimes with evidence and presumptions.

He called on the members to reduce the duration of obtaining a passport, re-evaluating the electronic platform to reserve the role through it, studying the possibility of obtaining a passport allowance for the expatriate through Syrian embassies, establishing immigration and passport centers in the liberated areas, and clarifying the nature of the electronic passport that the ministry seeks to adopt, stressing the importance of prosecuting the operators of offensive websites. .

Some members demanded to stop research radios whose legal period has expired, to treat malicious cases related to those outside the country, to amend some articles of the Traffic Law that govern the imprisonment of the traffic offender, to be strict in pursuing drug and beggary crimes, and to amend the legal legislation with regard to the crime of stealing electricity and communications cables to become a felony that requires the largest punishment and treatment.
