Violence against medical staff: A man stabbed a nursing brother (37) in the Beit Hadar nursing home in Ashdod this evening (Tuesday) and slightly injured him, searching for the stabbing man who escaped.
According to the police statement, forces were called to the nursing home following a violent incident, during which a suspect entered the scene after apparently wounding one of the staff members with a sharp object and escaped, police investigators opened an investigation into the case.
According to the suspect, a family member of one of the patients stabbed the brother.
MDA medics and paramedics evacuated the nursing brother and evacuated him when his condition was mild.
Dor Friedman, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: "This is a moderately injured man (brother) as a result of violence in a medical institution."
"After the initial assistance we provided him in the arena, he turned to Assuta Medical Center, at which point his condition is defined as moderate."
