Young Rabei Hussein, a resident of the district of Malakah in Tartous governorate, seeks to develop and refine his artistic experience in the field of painting and achieve his dream of becoming a professional artist who understands the different worlds of painting, its methods and techniques, integrating knowledge with talent.

Hussein, 22 years old, a student at the College of Fine Arts, explained to the SANA Youth Bulletin that he started drawing using charcoal and oil colors and touched on many topics, but his experience straightened out and took his professional and scientific path after joining several ceremonies and institutes in which he learned the principles, basics and rules of drawing, in addition to training him on a daily basis and for long hours to implement The paintings did not contribute to the support and development of his experience, relying on his talent, passion and the continuous support of his family, especially his mother, who believed in his abilities.

“The talent of drawing does not bear fruit unless it is combined with hard work, training and perseverance.” With these words, Hussein affirmed that drawing is a talent that comes with science, practice and passion so that every painter has his artistic template that reflects his mark and style through his vibrant works that are loved by the public.

Regarding his studies at the College of Fine Arts, Hussein indicated that he chose this specialization to be able to refine his talent by integrating it with academic information because drawing is a science and an art, and his study in this field gave him the opportunity to learn about other arts such as sculpture and decoration, which contributed to the formation of his knowledge and scientific vision about these arts.

The artistic realism school constitutes a curriculum for Hussein, through which he embodies reality in an artistic way through depicting things and relationships in their true and realistic image, in addition to portraits, drawing faces for their special meanings and feelings, using charcoal, pencils and ink.

Hussein paints daily with great passion and high accuracy, translating his feelings into his works, a number of which he executed in acrylic and wall paint on the walls of some cafés, in addition to implementing decorations within homes and children’s rooms, in addition to participating in joint events, camps and art exhibitions.

Hussein concluded his speech by noting that he displays his works on social media, implements a set of paintings and sells them at the request of those who wish, which contributes to securing a source of income that helps him reduce university burdens.
