A "flying turtle" wounding incident occurred in Causeway Bay.
At about 2 pm today (29th), a 46-year-old woman surnamed Yang was passing through the junction of George Street and Paterson Street when she was suddenly hit in the shoulder by an object that fell from a height. It was a Brazilian turtle, so I called the police.
The female victim was conscious and was transported by ambulance to Ruttonjee Hospital for treatment.
At the scene, the police found that the turtle involved was only about 30 centimeters by 25 centimeters in size and had no surface scars. It was later handed over to the relevant department personnel to be picked up.
The case listed an object falling from a height - someone was injured and was handed over to the Wan Chai District Criminal Investigation Team for investigation. No arrests have been made yet.
