Five people were killed and two others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a coach in Punjab province, east Pakistan.
The Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted the Pakistani police as saying today that a passenger bus collided with a vehicle on Khushab Road in Sargodha district while the bus driver was trying to overtake a motorcycle, killing five people and injuring two others who were taken to hospital for treatment.
The police pointed out that the bus driver fled the scene while his vehicle was being impounded.
