Nearly 90 participants from several governorates presented food, industrial, textile projects in addition to traditional crafts
Heritage in the “Goodness Festival” organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority on the sea corniche in Tartous.
The festival, whose activities started this evening, will continue until the 8th of next July, on the occasion of the coming of Eid al-Adha. Ihab Ismandar, head of the authority, said in his statement to reporters that it is a good opportunity for the owners of these projects to present their products, find marketing windows, and identify potential new agents and customers to sell their products. These products, pointing out that the participants do not have to pay money, as the authority paid the costs of the space allocated for the festival and the place of residence and transportation of goods to them.
In turn, Woroud Suleiman, director of the authority’s branch in Tartous, pointed out that the festival, which includes a large number of productive and manufactured projects, is the first of its kind at the authority’s level and includes small and medium projects and rural micro projects, with the participation of a number of wounded, homeless and people with special needs, and she said: We hope To give this festival a beautiful picture of Tartous Governorate.
Ghinwa Abdel Rahim, director of the wounded Watan team in Tartous, pointed out in an exclusive statement to SANA that seven of the team participated in rural and heritage food projects and handicrafts so that they would have another space to market their products, noting that this participation is the third for the wounded team in Tartous homeland since the beginning of the year until now.
A number of participants stressed the importance of the festival to get acquainted closely with new products, industries and crafts, and to know the needs of its visitors and their opinions of what they offer of local national products and industries that represent Syria as a whole, even if they do not bear the character of major projects in preparation for their expansion and development to be major industries that support and support the national economy.
