The cultural activities organized by the Ministry of Culture on the sidelines of the International Flowers Fair, which is hosted by the Roman theater stage in Tishreen Park this evening, are distinguished by their diversity and richness of content, including children's theater, music, dance and film screening.
The oriental orchestra, led by the musician Kamal Sekker, consisting of 25 instrumentalists, presented a group of oriental musical instruments and a link of muwashahat by Sayed Darwish, such as the sweet de, Salama Ya Salama and Taqtoqa, the fear of the soul.
The Children's Theater presented the play The Hiding Hat, written by Nour Al-Din Al-Hashemi, represented and directed by Khoshnaf Zaza, where he explained to the SANA reporter that the play's goal is to send a purposeful educational message that enriches the child's mind and develops his culture.
The Amal Dance Theater group also presented expressive and folkloric paintings titled Abaq Al Sham, which included representative scenes performed by Talal Mahfoud, the artist Madonna and a number of other artists, in addition to an expressive show presented by a group of buds.
In the open air, the movie Blood of the Nakhl was shown, directed by Najdat Ismail Anzour, and produced by the General Film Organization. It tells, in about two hours, the life story of the martyr archaeologist Khaled Al-Asaad until the moment of his martyrdom, with the systematic destruction of the ancient city of Palmyra at the hands of the terrorists of the organization (ISIS), embodying the sacrifices and heroisms of the army.
