The participation of the Revolutionary Youth Union in the activities held by the Ministry of Culture on the sidelines of the 42nd International Flower Show added a special character through the diversity of activities it presented among a large crowd of attendees.
The event, which was hosted by the Roman theater, began with the ceremonies of the Damascus Ensemble, where it presented a variety of patriotic songs amid the audience's interaction, followed by the presentation of a short documentary film known as the Revolutionary Youth Union Organization.
The band of the Assad Youth Institute performed in the field, led by the musician Youssef Ibrahim, a mixture of patriotic and enthusiastic songs that sang the glories of the proud Damascus, in addition to presenting various paragraphs interspersed with various folkloric paintings.
The Al-Raqqa Folklore Troupe embodied through its artistic presentation the paintings of the heritage of Al-Raqqa by performing famous traditional dances such as Al-Lala and Al-Dalona.
At the end of the events, the feature film (Dark Clouds) was shown in the open air, directed by Ayman Zeidan and produced by the General Film Organization.. This film was written by Zeidan in partnership with Yasmine Abu Fakher.
The film stars Wael Ramadan, Lina Hawarna and Nour Ali, with Mohamed Hadaki, guest star Joud Saeed and child David Mohad Al-Raei, and Alaa Qassem, Mazen Abbas, Mohamed Zarzour and Ghaleb Zeidan.
