The government reminds that when using the rapid antigen test kits, one should pay attention to and follow the manufacturer's instructions, conduct the test and read the results correctly, and take pictures for records immediately after reading the results.

Hands must be cleaned before and after the test, and non-essential supplies should be kept to a minimum in the sample collection area.

After testing, all components of the test kit need to be carefully wrapped, sealed and disposed of properly.

If the household environment is contaminated during sample collection, it should be disinfected with 1:49 diluted household bleach or 70% alcohol.

Persons who have obtained a positive result for the first time with the rapid antigen test can declare through the online platform of the "2019 Coronavirus Rapid Antigen Test Positive Results Person Declaration System".

If members of the public have difficulty using the online platform, they can call the automated system at 183 6119 to register their identity documents and telephone numbers.

The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health will contact the person concerned to complete the declaration process.
