The fees generated by the Real Estate Department in Lattakia Governorate from the beginning of the year until the sixth month amounted to about 715 million pounds, according to the engineer Jihad Al-Hatoum, director of the real estate departments.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Al-Hatoum explained the importance of completing the national project to automate the real estate newspaper, which was launched in 2017, and aims to simplify procedures, speed up the provision of services, reduce costs for citizens, and pave the way for the electronic linking process with all departments, in addition to preserving documents.
Al-Hatoum pointed out the completion of the automation of all real estate affiliated to the city of Lattakia, where the number of automated properties to date has reached 127,400, and it is an ongoing process.
Al-Hatoum said that there are 9 teams working to complete the identification and technical survey works in the four governorate areas, as they carried out during the mentioned period /114,329/ real estate statement and 3270/ area statement, in addition to awarding /3088/ assignments and completing /16828/ contracts. The survey teams completed the identification of 14 hectares and surveyed 400 hectares.
