With a celebratory dinner, the Management Board and Supervisory Board of VR-Bank Erding officially bid farewell to Michael Geser from the supervisory board of the cooperative bank.
He had been a member of the board for almost three decades.
Erding - In May 1993, Geser was elected to the supervisory board of what was then Volksbank Erding eG.
Born in Erdinger, he was chairman and deputy chairman of the monitoring committee for many years.
In addition to four mergers, a number of construction measures and groundbreaking strategic decisions were made during this long term of office, emphasized the current CEO Johann Luber, according to a press release.
"In all of these future-oriented decisions, the Management Board and Supervisory Board benefited from Geser's professional competence and many years of experience in their respective constellations," it says.
With the meeting of representatives on May 11, Geser's voluntary work for the cooperative bank ended in accordance with the statutes.
For 29 years of reliable commitment to VR-Bank Erding eG, he was awarded the Silver Badge and Certificate of Honor by the Bavarian Cooperative Association.
When saying goodbye, Luber combined his heartfelt Vergelt's Gott with good wishes for the future, "...and always a hand's breadth of water under the keel" for the passionate crusader.
