Virologist Christian Drosten defends himself legally against bad insults.
The verbal attack was not the first time that the corona expert was attacked.
Wesenberg – Because he was insulted during his vacation, the virologist Christian Drosten (50) has now filed a complaint against three people.
The corona expert and professor at the Berlin Charité was staying at a campsite in the Mecklenburg Lake District when he was verbally attacked by three permanent campers.
A spokeswoman for the Neubrandenburg police inspection confirmed that Drosten had filed a complaint against two women and one man for defamation.
According to the online portal

, the virologist was insulted, among other things, as a mass murderer.
The police in Neubrandenburg did not comment on the incident that is said to have happened last Saturday (June 25) at Ellbogensee.
Especially during the Corona policy, Drosten was the enemy of vaccination opponents
In the meantime, Drosten had left again as planned.
Most recently, the virologist spoke critically: Drosten feared another sharp increase in the number of corona after the summer holidays.
In the past two years, there has been a sharp increase in new infections in Germany after the summer holidays ended.
The virologist gained fame throughout Germany in the course of the corona pandemic.
In the course of the federal government's corona policy, Drosten has repeatedly been the target of hate speech.
Vaccination opponents and critics of the corona measures in particular publicly attacked the virologist.
