A car CAM video was circulated on the Internet. A black AUDI private car was driving on the wrong side of the road while driving along the overpass of the Environmental Protection Avenue. The owner of the oncoming film immediately braked and gave way for AUDI to return to the right way.

The film owner described the driver on the opposite line as "really out of line", and netizens were also greatly surprised.

The police said that they noticed a short video circulating on the Internet in which a dark-colored private car drove in the wrong direction while driving along the overpass of Huanhuan Avenue at about 8:00 a.m. on June 28, and almost collided with the oncoming vehicle.

The Police attaches great importance to the case, and the Kowloon East Regional Traffic Department takes the initiative to follow up the investigation.

After investigation, police officers today (29th) arrested a 53-year-old male driver surnamed Lau in Ngau Tau Kok District on suspicion of "dangerous driving".

He is on bail pending investigation and must report to the police in late July.

The Police strongly condemn the irresponsible driving behavior of illegal drivers, which, in addition to posing a danger to other road users, may also lead to serious traffic accidents.

The police must strictly enforce the law and will not tolerate it.

Police reiterate that anyone who drives a vehicle dangerously on the road commits an offence and is punishable by up to three years in prison and a fine of $25,000.

If it is the first conviction, you can be suspended for at least 6 months, and on another conviction, you can be suspended for at least two years, in addition to mandatory driving improvement courses and 10 points for driving offences.

The Police will continue to step up law enforcement to crack down on serious traffic violations on the roads to ensure smooth roads and safeguard the safety of road users.
