A journalist from an information site has filed a complaint for "
death threats
" which he claims to have received from relatives of the new Rassemblement national (RN) deputy for Var, Philippe Schreck, we learned on Wednesday 29 June from concordant sources.

The filing of the complaint in Draguignan (Var), which dates back to June 22, revealed by the daily L'Humanité, was confirmed to AFP by the public prosecutor of this city, Patrice Cambérou, who specified that an “
investigation will be carried out
”.
Djaffer Aït Aoudia, journalist and publication director of the information site lecorrespondant.net, based in Marseille, told AFP that he had received death threats “
by telephone, from Lionel Ferlaud, lawyer and close friend of Philippe Schreck
”, recently elected RN deputy for Var.

I received these threats the day of the publication on my site of an article devoted to Philippe Schreck, himself a lawyer and then candidate
," he said.

, "would have threatened Lionel Ferlaud, according to the report of the complaint consulted by the AFP.
The threats were then repeated on the premises of the bar association in front of the journalist's wife, a lawyer by profession, by Sandrine Schreck, the deputy's ex-wife, according to the journalist.
Joined by AFP, Sandrine Schreck indicated that he was "
not targeted
" by the complaint.
