File number XY: Case of Scarlett S. again on ZDF – hope for new clues is high

There is still no trace of Scarlett S. from Bad Lippspringe in the Black Forest, who disappeared in September 2020.
On June 29, the case was picked up again by “Aktenzeichen XY”:
Shorts, hiking boots and a large, red backpack with yellow hearts - this is what Scarlett S. from Bad Lippspringe in North Rhine-Westphalia looks like in the last photo before she suddenly disappeared in September 2020.
The then 26-year-old was hiking in the Black Forest, but never arrived at her destination in the town of Wehr (Waldshut district).
There has been no trace of the young woman since September 10, 2020, as MANNHEIM24 reports:

Helicopters, sniffer dogs, search parties: The investigators pulled out all the stops to find the missing Scarlett S. in the Black Forest - in vain.
To this day there is no sign of life from the missing person.
Various media reports and TV programs also did not lead to any new indications.
A report about Scarlett S. was last broadcast on Sat.1 Gold in November 2021.
However, there were no new findings here either.
On Wednesday (June 29, 2022), the Scarlett S. case will be brought up again in one of the best-known crime shows on German TV - in the ZDF program "Aktenzeichen XY" with moderator Rudi Cerne.
ZDF shows the new episodes of "Aktenzeichen XY" on TV every Wednesday.
The episodes can also be accessed via the ZDF media library.
The episode with Scarlett S. will officially be broadcast on Wednesday from 8:15 p.m. and ends at 9:45 p.m.

The fact that the Scarlett S. missing person case is being reopened in the prominent crime show is not surprising.
It was already known in March 2022 that ZDF was shooting for "Aktenzeichen XY" in the Black Forest and visually reconstructing the disappearance of the young woman.
In September 2020, Scarlett S. traveled to Stühlingen on the Swiss border.
Her plan was to hike the six stages of the gorge trail to Wehr.
The 26-year-old had planned to cover 119 kilometers, and she managed the first five stages.
But before the start of their last stage in the Black Forest, the connection suddenly broke.
The investigators date the last sign of life to September 20, 2020 – that’s when Scarlett was last seen alive in Todtmoos, a place between Freiburg and the Swiss border.
The well-known mug shot in the supermarket was also taken in the small community.

The tragic disappearance of Scarlett S. is not the only case on Wednesday.
In the new episode of "Aktenzeichen XY" four fateful events are shown, all of which have one thing in common: the people suddenly disappeared without a trace.
Scarlett Salice (26):
missing since September 2020 – set off on a hike in the Black Forest, but never reached her destination.

In the case of Scarlett S., moderator Rudi Cerne speaks live with Scarlett's father and aunt in "Aktenzeichen XY".
In addition, Christian Weinhold from the Kripo Waldshut-Tiengen will report on the missing person case on TV.
A message from ZDF states that there is a private reward of up to 12,000 euros for information that leads to clarification.
The relevant telephone number, via which the investigators can be reached, is displayed in the crime show.

Scarlett S. is missing on ZDF: "Too few people know about it"
Many of those affected in the Scarlett S. case have great hope that with the broadcast on the ZDF show "Aktenzeichen XY" completely new clues to the mysterious missing person case could appear.
"Because the interest is limited locally, too few people know about Scarlett's disappearance," said Patricia Lindinger from the Facebook group "Please find Scarlett" to the "Badische Zeitung".

In the past there had always been new information about the missing person case.
According to reports from "echo24.de", there are even "Scarlett stones" in the Black Forest, which are intended to remind of Scarlett's closeness to nature, but also of her disappearance.
All of the stones are hashtagged for alert hikers who may have a clue to share.

“Finally it's being broadcast in XY.
I hope that many clues will be received and that Scarlett will be found," writes one user.
