There is still construction work in the Steinpark schools.

But by September, elementary and middle school will be ready to go.

The management staff is also fixed.

– The interior construction work on the new Steinpark schools in Freising is still in full swing.

But nothing stands in the way of the start of school in September.

And who will lead the elementary and middle school in the future has already been decided.

As the Freising town hall spokeswoman Christl Steinhart told the FT, the painters and carpenters are still required until school starts in September.

The floor coverings still have to be laid and the furniture set up.

The construction of the outdoor facilities is also still in progress.

When asked whether the Steinpark schools would be ready in time by September, the spokeswoman replied: "Yes!

However, some restrictions due to new construction are to be expected.”

The new principals are good friends

The building technology should not yet function fully automatically, so one or the other setting will initially run in "manual mode".

"The lawn will not be usable yet, and subordinate furniture may still be missing - but nothing that would call orderly lessons into question."

As Irmintraud Wienerl reported, the primary school will in future be headed by Sabine Jackermaier (previously Sternschulen Neustift), while Simon Pelcer (Paul Gerhardt Schools) will be the rector of the middle school.

329 children and young people are registered at the elementary school and 339 at the middle school.
