German Foreign Minister Annalina Birbock announced that her country does not want to abandon the basic agreement between NATO and Russia.
"Germany does not want to denounce the founding law of Russia and NATO," she added in a statement today, reported by TASS.
And the German (Welt) newspaper reported that “Eastern European countries call for canceling the basic agreement signed between Russia and NATO in 1997, while France and Germany oppose this.
