Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani denied the circulating news that the first round of Doha talks on the Iranian nuclear file had ended without result, stressing their continuity in a professional and serious atmosphere.
Kanaani said in a statement today: The two-day talks did not end yet, and this evening there is another meeting between the head of the nuclear negotiating team, Ali Bagheri, and the European Union negotiator responsible for coordinating the nuclear talks with Iran, Enrique Mora.
He pointed out that the talks in Doha were scheduled for two days from the beginning, and during yesterday's consultations, the two sides exchanged their proposals and views on the remaining issues.
Earlier today, Tasnim International Agency said, citing well-informed sources, that the Doha nuclear talks ended and did not have a noticeable impact on the negotiation process, due to Washington's insistence on sticking to its proposals in the seventh round of Vienna negotiations without observing Iran's red lines.
