After a two-year break, the people of Isen enjoyed their folk festival to the fullest.

Isen - There was a folk festival in Isen until Monday evening.
The people of Isen celebrated together with their guests for five days.
Landlord, showman and community drew a positive balance.
It was a folk festival that the people of Isen have been waiting for: the people of Isen celebrated their folk festival almost consistently peacefully, happily and harmoniously for five days with a folk festival procession, church procession on Sunday, gun shooting and derbleckn.

"People enjoyed being able to go to the folk festival again after the two-year break," says landlord Anton Müller.
The restaurateur from Wartenberg was responsible for the marquee, beer garden and Urweisse Hüttn for the second time.
He employed a total of 60 employees for management.
Temporary workers and the well-established service team, which the people of Isen already know from past folk festivals, were added to the team from the Hotel Reiter.
Müller was particularly satisfied with the opening day, even if it was a special challenge for the staff.
"All 1,200 guests come at once and want their beer and food as quickly as possible," he explains.
The lunch menu on Thursday was also well received, the landlord sums up.
The program for Thursday evening, which has always been a difficult candidate in Isen, needs to be reconsidered.
"It wasn't that exciting.
But maybe you have to go in a completely different direction, away from the usual folk festival,” he says.
The fact that the girls' and boys' day was only moderately attended - the St. Wolfganger dusted off the promised prize of 20 liters of beer and ten chickens for the club with the most visitors - only casts a small shadow on the overall positive conclusion of the host.
And the little fight on Sunday night was "over as quickly as it started".
He finds the stream of visitors on Sunday astonishing, despite the heat, the tent was always well attended.
"This is also due to the deposits of the carnival committee," he suspects.
After the next weekend, when Müller is once again responsible for management at the festival weekend, the innkeeper and his employees have “two to three weeks of follow-up work to do”.
Will he be there again next year?
"I'm not averse," he says.
Robert Thalkofer, who represents the showmen, also gave a positive assessment of the course of the folk festival.
Like Müller, he also thinks that people were really happy to be able to celebrate again.
"We showmen are satisfied," he says.
“We had a very successful folk festival.
You really noticed that it was missing for the last two years," says Mayor Irmgard Hibler.
Her very personal highlights were the tapping and the good atmosphere on Friday at the Day of Companies.
"On the whole it was peaceful, there are always minor frictions," says the mayor.
There was something for everyone, says Volksfest speaker Hans Schrimpf.
Now it is time to draw a conclusion in order to be able to plan for 2023.
And the visitors?
are also satisfied.
When it comes to eating, the host could do more, said a couple who do not want to be named.
An 18-year-old complained that there were not enough rides.
"It was nice that we could meet again, we liked it," says Lydia Brosow.
The AWO boss was present with members at the seniors' meeting, which was organized by the district this year.
