The forces of the Lugansk People's Republic arrested 12 foreign mercenaries who fought on the side of Kyiv near Lyschansk.
The TASS news agency quoted the Deputy Minister of the Interior of the Lugansk People's Republic, Vitaly Kiselev, as saying: "The Lugansk forces arrested 12 people of different nationalities who fought on the side of Ukraine, and mercenaries participated in the battles in Robyzhny, as well as in Severodonetsk and in Lisichansk, and they were finally arrested."
Kiselev noted that the captured foreign mercenaries will not receive the status of prisoners of war and measures will be taken to investigate them according to what our specialists will work on.
Earlier this month, the Lugansk People's Republic's forces announced the liquidation of a group of foreign mercenaries.
