The marketed quantities of the wheat crop for the two branches of the “Syrian Grain” and “Seed Multiplication” in Daraa have reached 29,301 tons so far.
The director of the branch of the Syrian Foundation for Grain, Engineer Hamidi Al-Khalil, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that marketing is progressing at a good pace, with about 1,000 tons of wheat per day to the two marketing centers in Izraa and Al-Sanamayn. To date, 44.5 billion Syrian pounds, and that the disbursement process is carried out smoothly, easily and without delay.
The Director of the Seed Multiplication Branch, Eng. Samer Al-Zamil, explained that the marketing process is taking place at a high pace amid simplified procedures in terms of facilitating receipt and paying the incentive price provided by the state, indicating that the branch’s cadres receive daily quantities ranging between 400 and 500 tons, and that the total quantities received from the beginning of the marketing season amounted to 5301 tons.
