The number of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, who joined the list of deans of prisoners during the month of May, has risen to 233.
The Prisoners' Affairs Authority clarified in a statement reported by Wafa Agency that among the detainees, eight have been detained for more than 35 years in a row, 17 have been detained for more than 30 years, and 37 have been detained for more than 25 years.
The commission indicated that there are 25 prisoners who have been detained for nearly 29 years, in addition to 49 others who were liberated in 2011, and then the occupation forces re-arrested them in mid-2014.
The commission called on international legal and humanitarian institutions to intervene immediately to save the lives of prisoners in the occupation's prisons and to pressure it by all means to release them immediately, especially the sick.
