The reception of US President Joe Biden at the G7 summit in Munich by Markus Söder amuses the network.

Now the "Today Show" targeted him.

Munich – It was one of the highlights of the G7 summit for Munich: the arrival of American President Joe Biden with the famous Air Force One.

The Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder received the most powerful man in the world.

A big event for Bavaria and the trigger for numerous jokes on the Internet.

G7 summit in Elmau 2022: Söder receives Biden – and the mockery continues

First of all, Söder's clothes caused a lot of malice on the net.

The Bavarian costume of the rest of the reception committee was also hotly debated on the Internet.

And finally, the backpack that Söder presented to the US President as a welcome gift caused malice.

Söder revealed the gifts on Twitter: Bavarian specialties are in the backpacks for the most powerful politicians in the world.

Sausage, Cheese, Candy and Sheepshead cards.

Found food for the net, numerous users took the gifts as an occasion for mockery and malice.

What else should have gone into the backpack?

The ZDF satirical program "Heute-Show" knows it.

Without further ado, the satirists put the following sentence in the mouth of the CSU boss: "Wait a minute, I still have something that should be in the backpack!" A photo adorns the Twitter post that shows Markus Söder - how he proudly shows a miniature version of himself holds up to the camera.

The photo is of course taken out of context - Söder had received the mini Söder from a 3D printer two years ago when visiting the high-tech summit - and he never said the sentence.

Just satire – which is well received by Twitter users.

The tweet has more than 600 likes, and users agree with the joke in the comments.

The only question is how long the reception of the US President in Munich will continue to cause ridicule and malice.

In any case, Söder himself doesn't let it show - he records the reception as a success and celebrates: "Bayern can summit!"
