The kosher restaurant scene in Tel Aviv has been buzzing in recent weeks with quite a few innovations and surprises.
Last week it was the surprising announcement of the "Pupa" restaurant on Yehuda Halevi Street that after several incarnations it recruited chef Aviv Moshe and became kosher, and now it also comes in a kosher line from the restaurant Yaki Kabir.
Kabir, owner of the Italian Serpina restaurant and the Japanese Vioza below, decided to close the Turkish Maris restaurant on the other side of the compound on Einstein Street in north Tel Aviv because the light rail works do not allow seating, and to open a kosher bar grill, specializing in shawarma and handmade chickpeas. In self-collection and deliveries, but not only.
