The director of the Foundation's branch, Engineer Haider Al-Youssef, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that this step aims to reduce the financial burden on farmers and consumers alike, by purchasing the crop directly from the cultivated fields, which reduces shipping costs for farmers, protects them from the control of brokers, and saves them from paying the Al-Hal market commission. The price for empty packages.

He pointed out the importance of this step in reducing prices and securing a good material suitable for consumers in the local market, whether for wholesale stores or retailers in the coming period.

He said that the branch continues to distribute sunflower oil on the electronic card according to the text message, as 24 thousand liters of oil were recently taken and put in the halls and sales outlets spread in all regions of the governorate, noting that the percentage of distribution of the substance to date amounted to about 50 percent of the total number of electronic cards in the governorate.
