A man drove his car off State Road 2043 and crashed head-on into a tree.
The driver did not survive the accident.
Neuburg an der Donau – A 60-year-old died in a car accident in Upper Bavaria.
The police announced on Wednesday morning (June 29).
State road 2043 in Upper Bavaria: man has an accident - the engine is pressed into the vehicle
The man from the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district was traveling north on State Road 2043 from Karlshuld.
For reasons that are still unclear, the car then left the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree.
The force of the impact severely deformed the car, so severely that even the engine was pushed into the interior of the car.
The 60-year-old was trapped and suffered fatal injuries.

State road 2043 closed for hours after an accident
In order to clarify the course of the accident, the public prosecutor's office in Ingolstadt ordered an accident analysis report.
State road 2043 had to be completely closed for around four hours as part of the accident recording.
