The Presidency of the Council of Ministers mourned the death of Dr. Muhammad Al-Emadi, the former Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, who passed away today.
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers said: Today, with the departure of former Minister Al-Emadi, Syria has lost one of the national economic figures that played an important role in the process of developing the national economy and enhancing its role in various fields.
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers offered its deepest condolences to the family of the late, his family and his friends, asking God Almighty to bless him with his vast mercy and inspire his relatives patience and solace.
The late, born in Damascus in 1933, holds a doctorate in economics and a bachelor’s degree in law. He assumed many tasks in the economic and financial fields. He is considered one of the most prominent economic men in the Arab world.
