Three people were injured in an explosion at a petrol station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwest Pakistan.
"Initial investigations revealed that the explosion was caused by a gas leak at the provincial gas station, injuring three people, who were taken to hospital for necessary treatment," Xinhua quoted the local police as saying today.
The police indicated that the station may face a heavy fine or close for an indefinite period if it is found that it failed to follow the safety rules.
