After investigation by the police, it is believed that the incident was a gathering of car friends. Someone drove away at high speed and chased, and a car accident and a fire car incident occurred at the above address.

The police said that so far, six men have been arrested and six private cars of the same brand have been seized. Some of the arrested persons have been charged and are appealing for witnesses to provide information and contact the police.

Superintendent Lin Zhiyuan of the Traffic Accident Investigation and Support Team of the New Territories North Region said that at about 11 pm last Sunday (26th), a traffic accident occurred on Fanling Highway, and the two drivers involved abandoned their cars and fled.
In the car accident, one private car caught fire and was destroyed, while the other was abandoned at the scene. When the police arrived, they found that the drivers of the two cars had left without care. After investigation, the police arrested six men, aged between 23 and 40, on charges of "illegal racing" and "misleading a police officer", and detained six vehicles for examination.
The 6 private cars involved in the case were all of the same brand and did not have fake license plates.
Lin pointed out that some of the arrested persons have a record of dangerous driving, careless driving and speeding.
The rest do not rule out being charged by the police.
Police said they took the incident very seriously and called on witnesses to contact police at 3661-3800.
