Who celebrates when in the Feststadl?

This is determined by the town hall around Mayor Andreas Kemmelmeyer.

The assignment of the dates for the Unterföhringer Feststadl annoys the CSU.

She thinks companies are preferred, while clubs and citizens are at a disadvantage.

Unterföhring

– The town hall will continue to make reservations for the Unterföhringer Feststadl.

Mayor Andreas Kemmelmeyer (PWU) promises to serve local clubs and people from Unterföhring first.

In the CSU, on the other hand, there is a suspicion that well-known trade taxpayers will be pushed out.

In any case, the date for the summer party of the CSU in September is occupied.

"The year is over," complained parliamentary group spokesman Manfred Axenbeck to the Münchner Merkur.

In his opinion, the error is inherent in the system: "Appointments are given by the town hall according to the motto: first come, first served!"

With the application to entrust the municipal council or a qualified committee with the appointment, the CSU clearly failed with 5 votes to 18.

Under the proviso that citizens and associations are actually preferred, the other factions seem to have sufficient competence for the town hall to cope with the task.

Axenbeck, on the other hand, would have felt more comfortable if the municipal council checked incoming appointment requests.

Disguised reservations, double occupancy: "We know our Pappenheimer."

“I am not aware of any conflicts of interest”

Hardly opened than the first argument about the Feststadl breaks out.

The magnificent building, which cost five million euros, is Unterföhring's flagship.

"The Stadl is good for the perception of the community," explained Mayor Kemmelmeyer at the most recent municipal council meeting.

When large corporations like Allianz book the Stadl for events, a little shine should rub off on Unterföhring.

The mayor was convinced that this should not be detrimental to the reputation of the community.

Whether anniversary celebrations, birthdays or the Allianz summer party - according to Kemmelmeyer, appointments in the Feststadl are booked well into the coming year.

Any complaints from the clubs were not reported to him.

"I'm not aware of any conflicts of interest." So he couldn't understand all the excitement about the question of occupancy.

Priority for clubs and citizens demanded

But Axenbeck stuck to it: the impression that “whoever calls City Hall first gets a seat” cannot be taken away from him.

Rather, he had heard that not only the CSU had requested an appointment.

"The mayor in the Feststadl doesn't really have an overview." Allianz and other companies had blocked appointments through early reservations, stated Axenbeck.

But the Stadl was built for citizens and clubs, not for Dax companies.

"We don't need any commercial operations in the Stadl." Should the parliamentary groups nevertheless be of the opinion that trade tax payers should be considered, then please vote on it.

Udo Guist (PWU) was the only member of another parliamentary group to support the CSU's motion.

He called for a rating system to allocate appointments fairly.

"In the case of double occupancy, the municipal council decides." Although Guist opposed his own people, the excited mode reconciled the factions: "United first and citizens," recommended Guist.

"Then let's see what else is possible." ANDREAS SACHSE
