With the participation of 160 companies, the activities of the Adha Mubarak Festival, which is being held by Aleppo Governorate in cooperation with the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, opened this evening on the grounds of the Chamber of Commerce festivals market on Al Muhalaq Road.

The festival, which will continue until the 8th of next July, includes a wide variety of food products, soap, Aleppo thyme, consumables, various types of detergents, shoes, ready-made clothes, and various types of sweets and pastries for Eid rituals.

Dr. Hamid Kanno, a member of the Executive Office of the Aleppo Provincial Council, explained in a statement to SANA the importance of partnership between the Aleppo Governorate and the Chamber of Commerce in holding these events, which fall within a range of activities implemented by the governorate and that contribute to securing all family necessities at competitive prices and providing support for high-quality national products.

Amer Hamwi, head of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, confirmed that the festival aims to support all economic activities, producers, and small and medium enterprises, and to sell directly from the producer to the consumer at a price lower than the cost by presenting daily discounted offers on various products in order to reduce the burdens on citizens, pointing to the participation of the wounded Arab Army heroes. The Syrian in displaying their various products, referring to the efforts made to prepare the market and provide transportation and communication lines leading to the market.

SANA monitored the opinions of a number of participants, where craftsman Omar Al-Rawas demonstrated his keenness to participate in festivals and exhibitions to highlight the profession of carpet and rugs making, which has become one of the old traditional crafts, and to introduce the new generation to the ancientness of this profession and to learn how to repair carpets.

And Basil Fargo, agent of Al-Durra International Company for Food Products, indicated that his participation aims to reduce food prices while offering discounts of up to 35 percent for all products and food items, while Muhammad Batikh, owner of Mellon e-marketing and production for all children's, women's and men's clothing, pointed to offering a wide variety at discounted prices. Less than the cost price and selling from the producer to the consumer without an intermediary, while Ahmed Aziza, the owner of a clothing workshop, indicated that he offers a wide variety of ready-made clothes and jeans manufactured in his workshop and presents them directly to the consumer at the cost price, with offers on a daily basis, while Michel Doumat indicated that his participation in the festival To introduce resin products, antiques, and samadiyas that are manufactured locally by national hands, Mohamed Rabie Al-Nasser added that he participated in a group of Aleppo thyme varieties, with offers at competitive prices and discounts for various types.

The opening was attended by the governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, and the police chief, Dib Merhi Dib.
