The Farchant tunnel had been totally closed since Tuesday evening.
Traffic was stuck all day.
Traffic is now running normally through the two tubes again.

.: The error has been fixed, all clear at the Farchanter Tunnel.
Traffic is now running regularly and permanently through the tunnel again.
The Mayor of Farchant was able to give the all-clear in the early evening.
Nevertheless, Christian Hornsteiner (CSU) stinks about the constant burden on the village: "The traffic jams have to stop now!"

.: In the afternoon, those responsible for the state tree in Weilheim decided to put the Farchanter Tunnel back into operation at least during peak traffic times.
For this purpose, the Farchant fire brigade was put on increased alert.
The tubes are open on Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. during morning rush hour.
In the time intervals outside the designated traffic clearances, the B2 Farchant road tunnel must be closed again to rectify the fault.
The problem could not be solved so far.

) - Apparently the Farchant tunnel, which connects the important B2 traffic artery between Oberau and Partenkirchen, had to be completely closed during the night.
The cause is technical in nature, the radio system, with which you can call the emergency number from the tunnel, is going completely crazy.
It sends non-stop out of the tunnel and interferes with various frequencies in the area.
It must therefore be turned off and the tunnel completely closed.
An end to the total closure was scheduled for early Wednesday afternoon in the morning, but as of 3:30 p.m. it is still going on.

Block processing applies at the Oberau tunnel.
Traffic between Garmisch and Oberau is stopped in both directions.
The federal police are also stuck in traffic on the B2 on their way home from the G7 summit.

The chaos is intensified by the many emergency services returning home.
Around 18,000 police officers are said to have been on duty around the G7 summit, which ended on Tuesday.
Many return to their home inspection sites with heavy equipment such as water cannons and personnel carriers.

A wild rumor about the US President's vehicle entourage is being spread with particular relish.
When Joe Biden's 47-car column of vehicles thundered through the Farchanter Tunnel, it is said that the tank-like vehicles destroyed the technology there.
Exactly how, seems already agreed.
Because in Biden's bypass, a jamming signal is sent for safety reasons that blocks certain frequencies, including in his limousine.
A possible explanation would be that the radio system in the tunnel was driven crazy by this interference signal.
This is completely unconfirmed and just a wild rumor.
Troubleshooting and search for causes are ongoing.
