About fifty residents must leave the Saint-Victor Center, which includes an Ehpad and long-term care units (USLD), due to a shortage of caregivers.
Some of them joined the CHU in the north of the city and the others must be distributed in other care structures.
Every year, in July and August, establishments for the elderly are faced with staffing difficulties due to the leave of their employees.
But this year, the shortage promises to be even more acute.
In this tense context, the desertion of caregivers after the Covid-19 crisis is like a double penalty.
