39 athletes were honored in the district office for outstanding achievements, including some world champions.

District

– The district has honored 39 athletes for outstanding successes in the past two years.

The third district administrator, Britta Hundesrügge, presented the honor in the district office and said: "We are particularly pleased that very different sports are represented again this year." And she continued: "We are very proud of our athletes and their achievements.

You are a figurehead for our district.”

At the ceremony, participants in world and European championships, German championships and Bavarian championships as well as athletes with other outstanding achievements were honored.

Among them are seven German champions, 13 Bavarian champions, two vice European champions, one vice world champion and two world champions.

The district also honored some athletes for their extraordinary achievements.

Ulrike Mayer-Tancic from Krailling starts for LG Telis Finanz Regensburg and took first place in the half marathon on mountain trails, in the half marathon at 2000 meters altitude and second place in the Bavarian marathon championships.

David Ebner found out what the body is capable of.

At the Athens Marathon (the oldest marathon in the world) he ended up in the top 15 percent of the participants.

The football team from SG Stockdorf/Gräfelfing/Pentenried won the Upper Bavarian Championship 2021 of the Senior A.

This success is remarkable because of the general conditions: Less than ten years after it was founded and after several promotions, the team won the championship title in the highest league in the BFV district of Zugspitze.

This is unique.

About 300 teams fought for the title “Champion Senioren A, Oberbayern District 2021”.
