Christian Jacob will be replaced on Monday by the deputy of Doubs, Annie Genevard, who takes the interim presidency of the party until a next Congress in the fall.
A statutory succession in respect of her position as deputy vice-president of LR which she had acquired last July, replacing Guillaume Peltier, who has since left for Reconquest.

Another change in September: the general manager of LR, Jean-François Verdier, will leave his post and return to administration.
