However, many Munich residents have prepared for the fact that the Wiesn will cause states of emergency in the city from September 17th.
The 2022 Oktoberfest beer prize was the subject of much discussion, and construction work has already begun on the Theresienwiese.
Federal Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach had already intervened in the debate about a possible cancellation of the Wiesn - and was skeptical about hosting without any corona rules.
