The deputy prosecutor Gabriella Dotto, as part of the trial with shortened rite for
the death of 40-year-old Roberta Repetto from Chiavari
, asked for 16 years of imprisonment for the so-called 'holy man' of the Anidra Paolo Bendinelli center, 14 for Paolo Oneda and 10 for Paola Dora .
The three are charged with voluntary murder in competition.
Repetto
died of the consequences of a melanoma two years after the removal of a mole on his back
.
The operation was performed by the Brescia doctor Paolo Oneda
without anesthesia and on the kitchen table of the Anidra center
in Borzonasca.
Repetto was
treated for two years with sweetened herbal teas and meditation
and died in October 2020 at the San Martino hospital in Genoa where she had now arrived in desperate conditions.
Bendinelli is also accused of sexual violence and circumvention of incapacity
, the latter crime that according to the accusation the 'holy man' would have committed together with the legal representative of the Anidra Maria Teresa Cuzzolin center for which the prosecutor asked for indictment.
In the afternoon the lawyers of the civil party will speak while on July 7 it will be the turn of the lawyers of the defendants who had rejected all the accusations in the river hearing on Tuesday.
