Disappointment in the city cycling result

On the opening tour, the first kilometers for the rating were kicked.
But compared to last year, the Bruckers fell well short of the 100,000 kilometer mark this year.

Stadtradeln 2022 is over - and disappointment is spreading in the city.
Because the result falls far short of expectations
Fürstenfeldbruck - This can be inferred from a message from the town hall: Although many citizens ride their bikes, there are red protective lanes, bike lanes, cargo bike parking spaces and rentals.
But when cycling in the city, the citizens covered far fewer kilometers than they had hoped.
The winner is again Alling
467 participants in 33 teams covered a total of 83,279 kilometers in the three campaign weeks - individual riders were grouped together in an open team.
Last year it was 101,196 kilometers and 1200 participants.
So this year everyone covered an average of 177.3 kilometers.
The Bruckers clearly missed the goal of becoming the most active cyclist municipality in the district - Alling won the title again with the most cycling kilometers per inhabitant.

Gang Biking
The Schleifring Biking Team achieved the most total kilometers with 13,283 kilometers.
It is followed by the Graf Rasso Gymnasium (11 384) and the Open Team (7567).
In the city administration team, 32 employees pedaled 6512 kilometers, which meant fourth place.
In the category of the most active cycling teams - here the cycling kilometers per team member are counted - the paint monkeys won (1173).
Behind them came the Road Runners (706) and the ADFC (550).
The award ceremony will take place this year as part of the Old Town Festival.
The cyclists will also come to the stage in front of the Sparkasse on Sunday, July 24th at 3:50 p.m.
