How big is the crisis?

The public hospital, and through it the entire health system, is cracking.
It threatens to collapse in the coming months if emergency and structural measures are not taken in the very short term.
Regardless of the region or the type of structure, 63.7% of establishments report a major difficulty and 97.6% anticipate it by 2023. We are not facing an emergency crisis, but a entire hospital and, beyond that, the entire healthcare system.
One of the major problems is the chronic shortage of beds, and this phenomenon is further aggravated by the lack of caregivers which leads to further bed closures.
In our survey, 32% of respondents report bed closures in critical care, 20.7% in perinatal, 44% in surgery, 74.1% in medicine and 45.3% in psychiatry.
