An elevator crashed from the fifth floor of a building in via Vincenzo Balistreri, in the Brancaccio district in Palermo.

Inside were three people who are said to be in serious condition.

Firefighters and 118 personnel are intervening. The causes of the accident are not yet clear.

Investigate the police.
